Dr. Jordan


Dr. Jordan grew up in Molalla, Oregon and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Oregon. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Oregon Health Science University and has been in private practice in Tualatin for over 32 years. He considers the multigenerational relationships that he has developed over the years to be an enormous blessing. 

Dr. Jordan has actively participated in many local and regional communities which he sees as a privilege and joy.  Notable contributions include selection as a trustee on the Legacy Health Systems Foundation Board, and President of both Washington County Dental Society and the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a member of the Oregon State Board of Education, the OHSU Professional Skills and Judgement Committee, the American Dental Association and the Oregon Dental Association.


Continuing dental education has been a passion of Dr. Jordan’s. For the past 35 years, he has been a faculty member at Mount Hood Community College teaching Pharmacology, Medical Emergencies, Anatomy, and Pathology. Dr. Jordan has earned the impressive distinction of AGD Mastership, requiring testing after over 1,000 hours of course work. This award has been achieved by less than 2% of American Dentists.


Dr. Jordan believes that service is so important. He has participated in Mission of Mercy dental clinics in Portland, the Medical Teams International dental van as well as dental missions to villages, towns, cities and orphanages in Central America, South America, Papua New Guinea and India. He was awarded Washington County Dentist of the Year by Dental Aid for Children. He has coached many youth sports teams and enjoyed the years he spent as a Sunday School teacher at the church he attends.

Dr. Jordan enjoys the time he spends on his small farm caring for livestock, gardening, and canning with his wife Janet. He loves being actively involved in his children and grandchildren’s lives. He likes to read, hike, fish, and work in his woodshop.
